The location of this hostel was perfect, right in the heart of the town and close to all the major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, with the rooms and common areas kept tidy and well-maintained.
It was extremely slow and almost unusable at times. I understand that it's a hostel and not a luxury hotel, but reliable internet is essential for travellers these days.

Great value for money with decent sized private rooms and a shared bathroom. The location was a bit away from the shops and restaurants, but the free bus pass made it easy to explore Banff and beyond. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the communal kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The views from the outdoor patio were amazing, and the free pancake breakfast was a nice touch.

Decent sized private room and shared large bathroom. Location a bit away from the shops and restaurants, but free bus pass provided. Communal kitchen was clean and friendly. Good outdoor non-smoking patio with excellent mountain view. Very friendly and efficient staff. Free pancake breakfast and provided shower gel and sanitizer.
Kitchen closed for public use due to a group reservation. Felt cluttered and squeezed into a small space.

the staff was friendly and helpful. They even helped me book a trip to Moraine Lake using the Parks Canada shuttle. the hostel had free pancake breakfast every morning and a kitchen where I could prepare meals instead of eating out at expensive restaurants. the whole facility had a cool cabin feel and the rooms had nice wooden bunk beds. the location was good and parking was free.
I would definitely recommend HI Banff Alpine Centre to others. Cons: No complaints.

The value for money was great, with comfortable wooden bunk beds and a private queen bed option. The location was convenient, just a short drive or bus ride from town, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, as the service was slow and it was unclear whether I should wait at my table or order at the cash register.

my recent stay at the hostel in Banff was incredible. The location couldn't be better, with comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like home. The staff was delightful, and the free parking and bus pass were a nice bonus. I especially loved the fabulous bartender Ricky at the onsite restaurant. It truly exceeded my expectations.
Noisy room opposite the laundry.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the cozy common areas with the big fireplace. It created a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for the holiday season. the staff was very helpful in providing information and recommendations for nearby attractions and activities. They went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience.
the wifi was incredibly weak, especially in the evenings when most guests were using it. It made it difficult to plan out my daily activities and stay connected with loved ones back home.

The hostel had a lively atmosphere and I enjoyed meeting new people from different backgrounds. The bar downstairs was convenient for grabbing a drink and the room was nice and comfortable. Even though the location wasn't right in the center of town, the free shuttle passes made it easy to get around. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hostel.

The cafe was amazing, with delicious food that satisfied my taste buds. The free pancakes in the morning were a delightful surprise and definitely made my day. The rustic cabin feel of the facility was charming, and the open areas with large windows allowed for breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The convenient location and availability of free parking were definitely a plus.
The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and gave my partner and me back pain that lasted for days. our first room was located right by the hallway, making it incredibly noisy with constant stomping, talking, and door banging.
